Questions before you start

About support, school materials, arrangements and costs.

Choosing support

Which primary school groups do you help?+

We offer maths and reading comprehension for groups 5–8. Tell us the group and a recent difficulty so we can discuss a starting point.

Which secondary subjects do you offer?+

Maths, Dutch and English for vmbo, havo and vwo. Share your school year, level and topic so we can check whether our support fits.

What is the difference between tutoring and homework support?+

Tutoring focuses on a subject or gap in understanding. Homework support focuses on planning, getting started and checking work. We discuss separate tutoring if a topic needs more explanation.

Do I need a full school report?+

No. One recent assignment and a short description are enough for the first conversation. We discuss any other useful material afterwards.

Do you assess learning difficulties?+

Our sessions provide educational support. We do not carry out diagnostic assessments. Tell us what helps with learning, without sending medical records through the form.

During the sessions

How long is a session?+

Primary maths and reading sessions last 45 minutes. Secondary subject tutoring lasts 60 minutes. Study skills and homework support lasts 90 minutes, including a short break.

What should I bring?+

Bring the relevant book, assignment, your own attempt and any useful feedback. For homework support, bring your planner and a charged device if schoolwork requires one.

Will you finish assignments for me?+

You do the work. We help you understand instructions, practise a method and check your choices. Written assignments remain your own.

How do parents hear about progress?+

We agree with pupils and parents how to discuss progress. We focus on what is becoming easier, what still needs practice and the next step.

Can you promise a higher grade?+

We cannot promise a grade or test score. We set practical learning goals and review how independently you can use an approach.

Arrangements and prices

Does the contact form reserve a place?+

No. We first discuss your question, availability and costs. A session is confirmed only after the arrangements are clear and you agree.

Can I start with a single session?+

Yes. You can choose a single session. The price list also includes four-session packages; these are optional and do not renew automatically.

What do the prices include?+

The listed price is the total for the stated session or package. We use your school materials and our practice materials. Any different arrangement is discussed before you agree.

What if I need to move a session?+

Contact us as soon as you know. We explain the cancellation and rescheduling terms before the first session, including when a charge would apply.

When can sessions take place?+

Our hours are Monday–Friday 14:00–19:00 and Saturday 09:30–13:00. We are closed on Sunday. Available times are discussed by contact; a preferred time is not guaranteed.
