Work on one language skill at a timeDutch lessons can involve very different tasks. A reading test needs a different approach from a writing assignment. We start with your school instructions and a piece of your own work. You tell us which part feels unclear. We then choose one skill to practise, rather than trying to cover everything in a single session. For reading, we look at the purpose of a paragraph, links between ideas and evidence for an answer. For spelling, we work through the rule behind a choice and apply it in new sentences. For writing, we first check purpose, reader and structure before editing individual sentences.Bring a concrete taskA reading passage with questions and your answersA spelling exercise with correctionsA writing brief and your own draftThe assessment criteria provided by schoolYour work stays yoursSessions last 60 minutes. We can help you plan a text, review feedback and practise a difficult rule. We do not write an assignment for you. You make the changes and explain your choices. At the end, we note a few checks you can use independently next time. This support follows Dutch as a school subject; ask us first about other language learning needs.

Help that connects to class

šŸ“š

Your materials

We use your school chapter and recent work.

āœļø

Explain your steps

We ask how you reached an answer.

🧩

Try it yourself

Each explanation leads to practice.

Prepare for your lesson

Start with a real question

Bring an exercise you found difficult and the work you have already tried. We use it to decide what to practise first. A mistake is a useful starting point for an explanation.

Discuss help with Dutch

Tell us your school year, level and what feels difficult. We discuss the approach and cost before you start.
