Session length
60 minutes

Use English in small, clear stepsKnowing a grammar rule is different from using it in a sentence. We start with the chapter you are studying and a few examples from your work. You explain what you understand already. We then choose a manageable focus, such as a tense, question forms or finding information in a reading passage. We practise a pattern together before you use it in a new example. For vocabulary, we work with short phrases and useful contexts instead of only repeating isolated words. We also show you how to test yourself without looking at the answer straight away. What a session may includeComparing tenses and building sentencesLearning words in context and revisiting themReading for the main idea and specific detailsPreparing a short spoken task from schoolKeep practice connected to schoolBring your book, vocabulary list and any teacher feedback. A session lasts 60 minutes. We can explain a difficult point in Dutch, then practise using English. For a presentation, you prepare the content yourself and we help with structure, phrasing and rehearsal. We finish with a small practice goal for the week. Tell us which school year and level you follow when you first contact us.

Prepare for your lesson

Start with a real question

Bring an exercise you found difficult and the work you have already tried. We use it to decide what to practise first. A mistake is a useful starting point for an explanation.
