Understand why a method worksCopying a worked answer can feel clear until the next question changes. We ask you to bring a recent exercise, your attempted solution and the relevant chapter. Together we find the first step that causes doubt. That may be a rule about negative numbers, a formula or the meaning of a graph. We work through one example slowly, then change part of the question. You explain which steps stay the same and which need to change. Writing intermediate steps makes it easier to check your work and spot an error before it affects the whole answer.Possible topicsEquations, expressions and rearranging formulasLinear and quadratic graphsGeometry, scale and trigonometryProbability and statistics where covered at schoolPrepare for your sessionA session lasts 60 minutes. Bring your book, notes, calculator and upcoming test topics. We match the explanation to your school level and method. Before an exam, we can practise selected questions and review how you divide your time. We finish with a similar problem for you to solve independently. We discuss what improved and what still needs work; we cannot promise a grade.
